LAFOURCHE PARISH OFFICE OF COMMUNITY ACTION is accepting applications for a Full-time (35 hrs. per week), Administrative Clerk.  Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, minimum age of 18 years, typing and computer literacy mandatory. Ability to perform wide variety of clerical duties, communicate orally and in writing, exercise judgment in order to make sound decisions, effectively give and receive verbal and written instructions, establish and maintain working relationships with other employees, Supervisors, State Program Representatives and the general public.  Essential duties include but not limited to: preparing and maintaining materials for meetings, compiling and sorting data, correspondence and other vital program information, assisting in program reviews, monitors, providing data and information for state monitoring, maintaining of adequate records for all programs,  input data into data system, attend conferences and meetings, carrying out duties in conformance with federal, state and parish laws and ordinances, and performs all other duties assigned by Executive Director and/or Community Services Director.  Must have valid LA Driver’s License, have own transportation for work related purposes and pass a drug screen.  Salary: $11.50-$15.34 per hour.  Applications accepted at the Lafourche Government Complex, 402 Green St., Thibodaux, the Mathews Government Complex, 4876 Hwy. 1, Mathews and Galliano Government Complex, 16241 East Main St., B10, Galliano.  Deadline for applications is March 27, 2017 by 12:00 noon.  Resumes received without applications will not be considered.  Applications can also be found at “An Equal Opportunity Employer/Program.  Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities.”
