- With the flooding relief effort now shifting to rebuilding mode, the efforts to aid people impacted by the recent severe weather now shifts to an effort requiring more monetary means. Lafourche Parish individuals, businesses, organizations and schools have put forward a tremendous effort in the last week and have contributed an incredible amount of supplies to help our neighbors in need. Donation deliveries were made to Ascension, Livingston and Lafayette parishes. To that effort, we thank all who gave whatever they could to help.
