The Lafourche Parish Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing care, safety, and shelter for animals that are abandoned, lost, or surrendered by their owners. We ensure that our animals receive proper food, water, medical care, and socialization to prepare them for adoption or re-homing.

We do our best to find the best forever homes for our adoptable animals. This process involves promoting our animals through various adoption programs, conducting interviews with potential adopters, and ensuring that their homes are suitable for the animals.
