LAFOURCHE PARISH RECREATION DEPARTMENT is accepting applications to hire temporary, part-time personnel throughout the parish. Areas of the parish will include Bayou Blue, Raceland, Lockport, Gheens, Thibodaux, Larose, Cut Off, Galliano, and Golden Meadow. The positions range from Supervisors to seasonal employees for the Arts & Crafts/Playground Summer Programs. Applications accepted at the Lafourche Government Complex, 402 Green St., Thibodaux and Mathews Government Complex, 4876 Hwy. 1, Mathews. You can also pick up an application for the Larose, Cut Off, Galliano, and Golden Meadow sites at South Lafourche High School Office starting on March 10, 2025, with the deadline being postmarked no later April 5, 2025. The deadline for all other applications is April 17, 2025. (New applicants for Larose, Cut Off, Galliano, and Golden Meadow must have two letters of reference).
