Welcome to the Permit Department, where you can find help with everything from permitting your addition to your new house; from charitable gaming permits to fireworks permits; from flood zones and elevations to building codes and addresses. Our versatile department is full of ICC-certified permit techs, plan reviewers, and inspectors, as well as FEMA floodplain managers.

We are pleased to assist all Lafourche Parish residents with any permit questions and concerns and walk each one through our process to make it as easy as we can. All our forms are on-line for easy access. Our hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday.

We also have an inspector available on Friday so that you can keep your project moving ahead. We strive to keep our residents happy, while we assist them with building their homes and businesses to building code requirements, keeping them safe inside.
