The Communications Department strives to:

- Inform the public of government services, projects, events, and emergency information by utilizing press releases, local media, and social media.

- Process Public Record Requests in a timely manner.

- Ensures the website is up to date so that the public, internal staff, business and industry can have access to accurate information about the Parish.

Lafourche Parish Government will produce public records in accordance with
Louisiana Public Records Law R.S. 44:1 - 44:41.
